The game controls are standard for all units, just remember the following:
- to select units use the left mouse button.
- to assign an orders use the right button.
To select single unit, just click it with the left mouse button.
To select a group of units, press the left mouse button a little to the side of them and
without releasing circle them with a rectangle. A health indicator will appear above the selected units.
To deselect the selection, just left-click an empty area of the terrain.
When units are selected they are ready to follow orders.
The assigned orders depend on which units you have chosen, and on which place or object of the map you clicked.
For all mobile units, the rules are:
- If you right-click not an object, but simply the landscape, the selected units will go to that point.
If you right-click the minimap the units also will go to that point.
- If you right-click a unit or building of another player, the selected units will start attacking them.
- If the object that was clicked is your hospital,
units with incomplete HP will enter the hospital to be healed.
- If it is your monastery or another player's monastery, your units will go to the monastery.
- If it is your transport ship, the selected units will start boarding.
- If it is any other object, the units will just walk up to it.
For
workers, in addition to the above, there are additional commands.
If you select a worker and right-click the object:
- If this object is a tree, then workers will start chopping it down and collecting resource the wood.
- If these are berries, workers will begin to collect the resource the food.
- If it is any other resource, workers will begin to mine this resource.
- If it is a damaged or unfinished
building or
weaponry or
ship,
workers will begin to repair them.
- If you want the workers not to repair the building into which they can enter,
but go inside, then right-click this building again.
Units can have more than one task and execute them sequentially.
When you assign a new task, all previous tasks are canceled.
If you assign an task while holding down the CTRL key, the execution of previous tasks will continue,
and a new task will be added to the end of the task queue.
